Pelangi Petang Production

This thought has always comes into my mind this lately. When I can’t concentrate during lectures, when I’m lying on my bed before I close my eyes to sleep or whenever I think about my possible future in web development - I always think of this:

Should I re-brand my site? My identity? Or shouldn’t I?

It’s not that I hate what I have now. In fact, I always love the ‘Pelangi Petang’ name itself. It has such beautiful meaning. But I always feel that people hardly remember ‘Pelangi Petang’ especially for non-Malaysians since ‘Pelangi Petang’ are Malay words. I always think will it helps in my web design and development works? Will it brings me more clients since they hardly remember it? Does it sounds professional?

Some sort of questions really bother me. And I just can’t decide on this.

By the way, I had spaghetti for dinner today. It’s Pizza Hut’s spaghetti. Not bad but I prefer Kyros Kebab’s Black Pepper Spaghetti more. It costs me a two-day meals. Haha.

I’m full by now. I had McDonald’s Double Cheeseburger earlier. Hahaha.

I managed to stay in the same house with same housemates. Except for Yatie who chooses to stay outside the college (going back and forth from her house and college), all of us managed to stay in the same house at least for another one year. To fill in the room Yatie left behind, Baber has successfully made it in.

Last Sunday was the only day that the management accept registration. Imagine that. They only accept registration of thousands of students on that single day. I have to wait for 3 hours just to get my key. So much problems occurred on that day and we couldn’t help but laughed out loud because the problems keep appearing one by one and we really think it’s funny. I really think they have to fix their management (and attitude) but being able to stay in the same house with the same housemates is more than enough and we couldn’t ask for more.

Yeah! The theme is almost complete. I have successfully created and integrated the search form and 404 page late last night. Take a look at this screenshot.

What do you think? The character in the 404 image is Hatake Kakashi, my favorite character in Naruto anime series. I found this cute image of Kakashi reading his Come Come Paradise book. I edit a little part of it and use it here. If you wanna see the page in action, you can go to my 404 page.

I’m glad that this theme is almost complete. The XHTML and CSS is now valid but I still have some pages to work on. Later!

Updates: Support Forum Ready

Ahaha. I meant to write about this. But I forgot. Gomen, gomen. I have installed a support forum on my server and it’s now ready to assist you better.

I’m using Vanilla, an open-source forum software by Lussumo. I chose Vanilla because of its light weight, easy to manage and it has simple nice interface too. Feel free to sign up as member and we can discuss things especially on Wordpress themes development.
