Conserve Islam Chastity: Boycott Dutch Products

Greetings to all my readers. If you have been following the current news in our country, you should be aware of the Fitna issue. Fitna is a film directed by a Dutch parliamentarian, Greet Wilders. Fitna has severely damaged the pride and chastity of Islam.

What are the agenda behind this film? They themselves know that what they are doing is all lies. They quoted the tafsir of the Quran but the question is, do they quote the whole complete sentence? Tafsir of Quran is not something you can read just one line and stop. The verses are interconnected to each other and you have to read from the start to the end in order to understand the meaning of the sentences. You can’t stop at one point. There you’ll misunderstood the meaning of the sentences.

Our government and all other Islamic countries throughout the world are fighting hardly against this film. We as individuals can also contribute to defense the pride of our religion but whatever we do to conserve it, let us not forget to not to deviate from al-Quran and Sunnah.

Malaysian Muslim Consumer Society (Persatuan Pengguna Islam Malaysia) has launched a boycott towards Dutch products in Malaysia. Among them are:

  • Dutch Lady milk products
  • Sunsilk shampoos
  • Shell (petrol)
  • Lipton Teh
  • Dove shampoo
  • Fair & Lovely

… and many more. Check out the complete list here: Muslim Consumer

Again, what are the agenda behind the creation of this film? Don’t they realize, humiliating and defaming others’ religions and beliefs, what more with hidden intentions, is a form of terrorism?

Lastly, before I end my words, let spend some times reading this tafsir of Quran from the bottom of our heart, and discover the true meaning behind it:

English Translation

[8:55]
Surely, the worst of all the moving creatures, in the sight of Allah, are those who reject Faith and do not believe

[8:56]
-those with whom you have entered into a treaty, then they break their treaty each time, and they do not fear Allah.

[8:57]
So, if you find them in war, deal with them in a way that those behind them have to disperse fearfully, so that they take a lesson.

[8:58]
And if you apprehend a breach from a people, then, throw (the treaty) towards them in straight-forward terms. Surely, Allah does not like those who breach the trust.

[8:59]
The disbelievers should never think that they have surpassed (the divine punishment). Surely, they cannot frustrate (the Divine will).

[8:60]
Prepare against them whatever force you can, and the trained horses whereby you frighten Allah’s enemy and your own enemy and others besides them whom you do not know. Allah knows them. Whatever thing you spend in the way of Allah, it will be paid to you in full, and you shall not be wronged.

[8:61]
And if they tilt towards peace, you too should tilt towards it, and place your trust in Allah. Surely, He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

Malay Translation

[55]

Sesungguhnya Ia Maha Mendengar, lagi Maha Mengetahui.

Hey, a boycott is more respectable than setting our embassy on fire or stabbing a heart through the infidels chest and leaving a warning note attached, or maybe rioting in the streets calling for the death of the film maker, or blaming the killing of innocents on “those who incite hatred” rather than blaming the perpetraitor

I can respect a boycott, just not violence.

i do heard a lot about boycotting. those company are international company, they achieved billions dollars. losing a few thousand dollars really doesn’t effect their business. they don’t even bother about it. we have to think of something that can make they open their eyes.
