What I called ‘Unique’ WP Themes
Filed in Wordpress | Published on 6:01 pm | 9 comments so far | 886 viewsMost of my frequent visitors know that I change my blog theme quite often. I constantly looking for new and fresh Wordpress themes over the Internet. I can say that I do it everyday. Don’t misunderstood me, I don’t change my blog theme that frequent; I just want to be up to date to the newly released Wordpress themes that are available for download. Whenever I found one or two that I like, I’ll download and keep them. And I like to give my comment and opinion on those themes too.
Look, I know your taste. You like to find one that is unique. So what is it to keep the downloaded theme and not to use it when it is unique?
Yes. My taste of Wordpress themes are those that are unique by means of physical design and the content structure. I keep them because I won’t change my Wordpress theme that often and that maybe I can use them in the future. Not only that, I learn from the themes. I learn the XHTML, CSS and the Wordpress codes itself. In simpler words, I learn on how the author make them possible, then I’ll do some experiment on a very basic theme I created on my own (I have one :P). Besides, there’s nothing wrong to have a collection of good Wordpress themes, right?
So how do you label a theme as unique? You have your own criteria. I have my own too. Here’s a list of good-looking, decent, and unique Wordpress themes (to me) I found throughout the Internet. Some of you might like one of it. So take a look.
1. Dark Theme by Wolfgang Bartelme

Picture through Smashing Magazine
2. Gossip City 2 by Design Disease

4. Love Theme by TechnRoll

5. Modicus Remix by Art Culture

7. Resurrection by Vikiworks

8. Smashing Theme by Design Disease. Brought to you by Smashing Magazine.

9. The Morning After by The Masterplan

Ahh… Finally we have come an end.
So how do you find the themes selected? To me, those are eligible enough to be called as ‘unique’
Especially the magazine-style theme - The Morning After. Initially, I planned to use that theme on my blog but due to some reasons, I’ve decided just to keep it as one of my favourite themes.
Someone had asked me where did I found those beautiful themes (since my blog theme is always beautiful :D) Well, my answer is… they can be found everywhere, if you know how to find them. 8). Nah, check out my Links page and look under Wordpress Resources. That’s my usual place to lepak-lepak and search for themes
So don’t give up looking for a good theme for your blog
But always keep in mind - just download from decent websites. I really mean it. DECENT WEBSITES. Or CLEAN WEBSITES. Beware that some of the irresponsible blog theme galleries has changed the original themes and put spam links in there. So keep this in mind - always download from the author’s website.
I think that’s all. I hope you’ll find this post beneficial to you, especially to those who are looking for a new blog theme. I know that some of them are old themes; however, old doesn’t mean junk and useless.
An nyeong i kye se yo. “Stay in well-being”.

I love white background too ^_^
Nice article. You gathered the list of quite interesting themes.
Thanks Igor.
They’re all the latest alright.
If you could find Dark Theme Black by OneMoreRevision it would be nice. The site to download this theme is close, I couldnt find any alternative. Let me know if you get a hold of it.
Mine is not unique, but I customised it to play well in IE, FF and Safari. Also changed a few image, and presto~ my personal theme
You can check out the theme at my site, http://www.noktahhitam.com still 90% beta. Earnestly looking for bugs, improving the design and loading speed.
edwin - Hey edwin, I guess the theme is still available at iLemoned.com (the link provided above). You just have to browse his blog. Maybe type “Dark Theme” in the search form. Yes, OneMoreRevision did a good job. I’ve looked at it a long time ago. However, I’m not really into dark theme. I mean, really dark theme (dark colors, dark background, etc.).
The dark theme mentioned, I have it. Just the dark theme “black version” from OneMoreRevision. You can try to click the link, apparently OneMoreRevision did not renew their domain, so instead of seeing a website, you’ll get 404 error. Or maybe they shut down.. who knows..
